"WHEN THE BULL MEETS THE BALANCE" PART 1

Do you ever feel like the only thing you’re taking home from your pay check is grief, I know that’s how we felt, with oil on the rise to record breaking prices the cost to commute to work, heat your home and every other grief stricken bill being thrown out the window, what are we really working for?

Are you prepared for the oil crisis to come, if you think you are ,what exactly have you done about it? There are two movies I recommend watching if you haven’t seen them already and if you have, think back to these movies.

The first one is a Canadian documentary called "The End of Suburbia," an eye opener that can’t be denied. This documentary gives a gloomy glimpse of our very near future.

What happens when our oil supply starts to dwindle in approximately 5 years because of our growing demand for it, and the price oil hits and stays at $100.00 a barrel or more, as many analysts are predicting to happen sooner then we like, how will you get to work, how will you heat your home, how will you live when everything we use needs oil to produce?

Are you ready to give up the suburban lifestyle you’re accustomed to and not by choice but because there is no other choice.

If your not, you better rethink your future and how you will survive, because when the time comes, only the survival of the fittest, will survive.

So what can we do about it? Save every penny to ensure when the time comes you may be able to survive another year, because what will happen to your job, your house, who will buy it if no one can afford to maintain it.

My husband and I came up with a solution, that not only cuts down on the amount of grief with paying less bills and conserving oil for travel only, but will also benefit our children and teach them survival skills since it will be my children’s generation that will suffer the most from our careless use of fossil fuels.

What’s the catch you may ask? It’s simple.

To live the simple life, we as the human race once used to be accustomed to before the need and greed of the material world became out of control ,while using the technology we were blessed with, but simply take for granted that it will always be there.
