"No way, it will never happen!" You be the judge

End of Times, Doomsday, Judgement Day, "No way, it will never happen" many skeptics are screaming out as this subject is turning to center stage.

Never ...such a strong word and something that should be thought out before used in such a convincing and powerful way when speaking of the possible end of the world as we know it. I pray the end of our civilization does not happen and will not come as tragically as many other civilizations have encountered for example, as the people of Pompeii and their sister city Herculaneum did from Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, the Maya Civilization suspected to have collapsed and died from the deforestation causing their own ‘climate change’ that caused their civilization to have food and water shortages eventually killing them from malnutrition and dehydration, or the Minoan civilization that through archaeological studies have shown their demise was through clear proof of deforestation and not just the volcanic eruption and sea waves but was caused by the induced crisis they created on their atmosphere that could have been the end for them. Those are just a few civilizations that have been conquered through the anger of the earth upon them. more

History, Sciene and Mythology...Will we ever learn?

I’ve always enjoyed science and history, with it you can keep asking questions and when they’re answered, those answers always spark new theories that generation upon generations may continue until an answer is found.

Mythology is also a favourite topic of mine and always enjoyed my grade 10 Latin class with Mr. Turnbull. I remember how exciting he was and how we spoke as a class of hopefully getting to Ancient Greece and Egypt one day on an archaeological dig while visiting many places and experiencing the history first hand. I’ve dreamt of those days ever since and still many years later, archaeologists are still digging into the history including the uncovering of 3,000 year old remains from an ancient fortified city, the largest to date found in Egypt, just announced Wednesday, along with a relief of King Thutmose II (1515-1504 BC) with also the belief he may have built a fort near the ancient city, which also may have been the militaries headquarters from the New Kingdom era. more
