Are Suburban homes about to become a blur of the past?


Our original plan was to cross country Canada the next couple of years as we seek out some real estate to purchase and begin to build our home we will be building and powering with Green Energy, (more in coming posts on Alternative Energy) but due to the unpredictable cost of gas on the rise, Ontario will be our first concern of exploring and raising awareness.

Our friends and families first reaction was that we were crazy, but as I had been following closely for years the American economy and politics, and after being introduced to the Canadian made documentaries “End of Suburbia” and “Escape from Suburbia” our future planning began as how to learn survival when the day comes from unattainable prices not just in gas but in every aspect of living. I really like your initial plan. Sounds great. I also hope that you will really implement some earth-friendly technologies. Green technologies used to be very expensive and not worth to invest.(I mean real profitability , no social responsibility and awareness) But now things are different. Price of oil and all others natural resources are unbelievable and it makes green technologies cheaper in a long run. And finally as a Vancouver realtor I can tell you that it will really improve value of your house in future.
